The Night Before Christmas

In addition to cold season, it’s also the holiday season. We would like to help you celebrate and share the holiday spirit with a Christmas classic, in a very Cold-EEZE way…

’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house

Many creatures were stirring – well… human (not mouse)

Mr. and Mrs. Jones were suffering from cold symptoms that were so very bad

It threatened to turn Christmas from joyous to sad

They sat round the dinner table, Mr. Jones scratched his head

And finally said: “let’s get some rest, let’s just go to bed”

He’d thrown in the towel, he’d given up hope

That his family of four would be able to cope

Little Marcy had caught the sniffles from a friend

And soon brother James had it too – they never thought it would end

The kids recovered, but soon both parents had it too

They didn’t know what it was – thought it was the flu

The doctor told them it was just a bad cold

“Very bad,” he repeated, “although common, I’m told”

That night James, Marcy and the elder Joneses trundled off to get some sleep

But Marcy snuck out of her room without uttering a peep

Still in her pajamas, she snuck down the stairs

She arrived in the living room, and plopped down in an overstuffed chair

Perched next to the window, she sang a sad little tune

And hoped for a sign that her parents would get better soon

What she saw shortly was a far better apparition

In the window appeared a bearded, heavy-set man with a sweet disposition

“Ho, ho, ho, little Marcy,” he cried out

And the sight of this man instantly changed her pout

“Santa!” she exclaimed, for she knew the face

Although she had never expected to see him in so familiar a place

And then he said: “My dear, you’re not feeling like yourself!

This news was passed on to me by one little elf.”

Surprised that he knew, Marcy nodded her head

He continued: “mom is sniffly, dad’s stuffly, they’re running off to bed!”

“Now, little Marcy, I know just what they need

Cold-EEZE that is really their speed

It helps shorten cold-time by almost half

It tastes so good it might make you laugh

What’s more, we’ve seen celebrities running to grab it too!

Cold sufferers should look at Stacy Keibler or Kris Humphries to get a clue

Take cheer, little Marcy, Cold-EEZE is here

With Strawberries & Cream by your side, there’s no need to fear

Here’s one for your father and one for your mother

And if you want more, please just ask for another!

Give them Cold-EEZE tonight, they’ll be better by the morrow

Christmas will once again be festive, no room for common colds and for sorrow!”

And down through the chimney came four great big bags

Marcy ran over to make sure her goodies she did snag

With his work there done Santa sprang to his sleigh; to his team gave a whistle

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle

But Marcy heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,

“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
