“How to Treat Cold Symptoms” Series The Runny Nose

Drinking Fluids:

Chewing Ginger:
• While this might not sound like the most enticing method, chewing raw ginger actually soothes a runny nose fast. Take fresh ginger, peel it and squeeze it. You can also try chewing it with salt, just as long as you eat as much of the ginger as you can!

Peppermint:
• Believe it or not, those little red and white swirled suckers are a natural treatment for a cold symptoms. The main ingredient in peppermint is menthol, which is a natural decongestant; it, like fluids, will thin the mucus stuck in your nose.
